Gujarat Medical Council (GMC) on Wednesday suspended licenses of two doctors for violation of norms. Ahmedabad-based Dr Narendra Kantilal Parikh’s licence was suspended for three months for violation of norms in issuing certificates to an accused in a criminal case which aided the latter in evading law. The licence of Dr Jitendrasinh Lalitsinh Rana of Surat was suspended for six months for negligence in treatment which caused patient’s death.
